Juvenile Registration Evening
A successful registration night was held for our juveniles last Thursday. However, all players have to be signed up before taking part in any training. Membership forms and fees will be accepted by Club registrar Margaret Walsh ( Mob. 0868827647 or any member of the Club Executive. Please ensure that your child is fully register as they will not be covered under the GAA insurance scheme.

Our boys have taken part in the Indoor Blitz league these last few Saturdays held in Ballybay Recreation Centre. The players enjoy themselves in what was a well organised event by the Monaghan Development Coaching staff.

Juvenile Coaching Development
Our juvenile coaches are undertaking their Foundation Course this Friday & Saturday 2/3 March. This will cover all child protection and minimum requirements for coaching per GAA guidelines. If anyone would like to attend please contact Fergal Mone 087-2242726. There will be also other courses in Coaching and Games Development throughout year. These are great courses to attend for aspiring coaches and managers, and include lots of practical work and games workshops. Please keep an eye out on the Monaghan GAA website and contact Fergal if you would like to attend.

Monaghan v Tyrone
With Vinny Corey getting his first outing with the county seniors this season we had four players making a significant contribution to Monaghan’s narrow win over Tyrone in Blayney on Saturday night last. Well done to the two Conors, Vinny and Dessie and hoping they and their team mates can bring this good form to Galway at the week end.
