Club Notes – 15 March 2018

Platinum Tanks Reserve League
Clontibret 5-8 Magheracloone 3-10

In a high scoring game in Magheracloone on Saturday our reserve team got the first points of the season under their belt with a four point win over the locals. Next up is Latton at home on Sunday 18th March at 12 noon followed by Donaghmoyne at home on Saturday 24th March at 5pm.

Minor League
The Under 18 team under the guidance of Kieran Brennan, Conor Fadian and Kevin Dunlop have been preparing for their first game of the season on Bank Holiday Monday 19th March which is away to St Tiernach’s, a Clones /Killevan amalgamation.

Juvenile Registration Night
A second registration night will be held tonight Thursday 15th March from 8.15pm to 9pm for those of you who were unable to attend the first night. It is vital that all players are fully covered under the GAA insurance policy. Membership fee is €50 per player. If the parent is an up to date Clontibret Our Future member there is a reduced rate of €25 per player. Please attend on Thursday and ensure your child is registered for the year. Remember the Club Executive has decided if players are not covered they CANNOT PLAY.

The U9s have their first outing of the year in the indoor league held in Ballybay on Saturday. Well done to all the boys who competing very well during the course of the morning.

The U11s will have two teams competing in the new Development League this year. The first outing will be on Saturday the 31st of March with both teams away to Carrickmacross.

The U13s will have two teams competing this year. There will be one team in Division 2 and another team in Division 6. Both teams will be out on Saturday 24th March with the Division 2 team away to Donaghmoyne and the Division 6 team away to Truagh.

Juvenile Hurlers
Our u10s and u12s completed the final leg of the DKIT Winter Blitz on Sunday.
U7 and u9 training continues in the hall Fri evening at 7pm. Helmets and hurls available. All welcome,
U11 and U13 training will resume shortly.
AGM to be held shortly.
