Covid 19 Restrictions Continue

As Covid 19 restrictions continue at least into next week and probably longer we hope that all our members are keeping safe and well while at the same time remaining as active as possible. A helpdesk has been set up by Monaghan County Council to respond to the needs of those who feel vulnerable as a result of Covid 19 restrictions. It can be contacted anytime at 1800 804 158 with a team of local volunteers in place to respond to your requirements. Feel free to call at any time for any type of practical assistance or just a reassuring chat. Our facilities at O’Neill Park remain closed for all activities until further notice

Free Frozen Prepared Meals

During the current Covid-19 crisis, Kerry Foods in Carrickmacross in conjunction with Monaghan GAA is offering to supply free Frozen Ready Meals to people of the county who may be in need of assistance. Good to Talk

Monaghan GAA in conjunction with Monaghan Age Friendly Programme has launched a Good to Talk Initiative whereby you can nominate an elderly relative or friend who would be cheered up by a phone call from a member of the Monaghan senior football panel. From the initial reports, of the initiative,so far, on social media it seems to be going very well so if you want to set it up for someone, contact assistant county PRO, Mary, at 087 6887332 or pro.corduff.monaghan @gaa.ie to set the process in motion.
