Closure of Facilities at O’Neill Park

The GAA released an update for clubs and counties in response to the government’s roadmap to reopening the country. In line with the continuance of social distancing restrictions by the government, all activities at club and county remain suspended including training and team gatherings at all ages and all gradeswhile our walking track also remains closed. The country is now in the second week of Phase 1 of the Government’s Roadmap for re-opening but relaxations announced so far do not allow any of our facilities to re-open. While recent reports suggest there may be some relaxation to come in relation to walking tracks there is no directive as yet and we will update you on any further changes to the phases and their implications for our facilities as guided by the GAA, and on what activities will recommence whenever they are definitive. Meanwhile we should all continue to wash our hands, adhere to social distancing and follow all HSE guidelines. Please keep up the good work as our collective effort will see us through

The helpdesk set up by Monaghan County Council still exists to respond to the needs of those who feel vulnerable as a result. It can be contacted anytime at 1800 804 158 with a team of local volunteers in place to respond to your requirements
